Il est un temps que les Niçois ou touristes d'un soir n'ont pas (encore) connu, celui d'une ballade théâtrale et baroque dans les jardins de la colline du château, emmenée par les comédiens de la compagnie Miranda.
Cette époque, pas si lointaine, c'était entre 2002 et 2008, quand La Castellada était un rendez-vous incontournable des soirées estivales azuréennes; un événement couru mais abordable, théâtral tout en étant populaire, intimiste sans jamais être élitiste.
L'ambition de cette promenade-spectacle était de retracer les grandes heures de Nice La Belle en une dizaine de saynètes à l'esthétique soignée dans un décor atypique, plongeant le visiteur dans les vestiges de la ville millénaire et son regard dans la Méditerranée.
Interrompue à regret durant une douzaine d'années, la Castellada refait parler d'elle de la plus jolie des manières, en revenant sur le devant de la scène cet été. Du 25 juillet au 15 août, dès 21h, la ville de Nice renoue avec cette manifestation originale.
